The Pioneer Days Parade
on Dearborn Street
in Englewood Florida
September 6th, 2010

Pioneer Days Parade 2010 started out on Old Englewood Road and then finally made the left turn onto West Dearborn Street about 10am

The street was absolutely jammed with wall to wall
spectators on both sides of Dearborn Street
from Old Englewood Road to South McCall Rd.

I ran into a few friends along the way

And hopefully made a few new ones

When they rounded the corner onto Dearborn Street you could hear the crowd start cheering. And it was time for me to go to work. Below are some of the highlights of the parade as well as some of the Pioneer Days activities going on nearby. This is only a fraction of the photo's that I took at this event. There were over 100 vendors at the event this year... and I didn't have the energy to visit them all as I usually do... so I just picked out a few interesting things to pass along to you.
